One Way Vision Window Decals
One way vision window decals are made using a vinyl sticker that has perforated holes in it, allowing you to see through one side of the sticker. They are often used on vehicles and busses, retail stores and office spaces and as window frosting.
At AMS Sign Services, we provide a range of different one way vision products for use on windows and glass surfaces on cars, businesses and even homes. We use high-quality materials and we also take care of all of the installation process for you as well.
The process for installing one way vision vinyl decals is quick and simple – start by getting in contact with us to arrange a suitable time for a free measure and quote. If you already have the artwork you can supply it to us in AI, PSD or PDF format, or if required we can organise the artwork for you.
We’ll then provide you with a mock-up for your approval prior to sending to print. The turn around time for the printed materials is usually 7-10 business days although this may depend on the size and scope of your project.
Once the prints are ready we’ll give you a call and organise a suitable time to install – if they are going on your shop front or main place of business then we will work with you to find a time that will offer the least amount of disturbance to your business operations.

One-Way Vision for Vehicles
There are two different types material that are used for one way vision decals, but only one of them is legal for use on vehicles. The perforated vinyl that is used on vehicles has larger holes so that you can see through clearly while driving. It also has to be laminated to ensure that you don’t get any dirt and grime build up in the holes which would also block your view while driving.
It is important to ensure that you are getting the legal one way vision material installed on your car – it is slightly more expensive but if you were to use the cheaper non-legal version on your car and you got into an accident then any warranties that you have with your insurance provider could be void.
At AMS Sign Services we only use the specified legal material for car signage, however there are some providers who do not – so if you are comparing quotes for your cars signs and you notice one that is considerably cheaper, it may be a good idea to enquire about what material they use for the one way decals.
